The Beachcomber Steakhouse is a bright and airy restaurant with great views out over South Pier and the Irish Sea. It is located on the first floor of Blackpool's South Promenade.During the off-season, the restaurant closes, but during the summer, it's the place to go for good food at a reasonable price. It's been a seafront fixture since 2002, but it was completely refurbished in 2015.After 30-plus years as a chef with a resume that includes the QE2 and London's Ritz Hotel, chef-owner David Kay returned to his Blackpool roots to run the Beachcomber.Expect high-end pub fare such as 16oz T-bone steak (£15.95), 8oz Gammon Steak (£7.95), or Surf & Turf (£13.95), as well as a large selection of ‘Old Favourites’ such as Homemade Lasagne & Chips (£7.50), Lamb Hotpot (£8.25), Chicken Curry (£7.50), and a Rack of BBQ Ribs (£9.95).You can also select from a list of daily specials. The Beachcomber is fully licensed, and children's menus and activity packs are available. The restaurant has seating for up to 65 people and is also available for private hire.
